Taylor Swift is this generation's Elvis Presley. At just 32 years old, she is the most streamed female of all time surpassing legends like Michael Jackson, Madonna, and Dolly Parton. Taylor Swift just released a new album, and it has been breaking records since its release date. In just one week, she became the first artist to sell 1 million records since she released her ‘Reputation’ album in 2017. The album sold 1.2 million units in its first three days of release. Taylor Swift became the first artist to have all her songs simultaneously chart in the top 10 on the Billboard Hot 100. She gains more fans every time she releases an album and keeps all her fans locked in. She’s known for writing about her “exes” and “breakups” only but there’s more to her catalog than that and that is what keeps fans in for the long haul. They can always count on Taylor to release unimaginable music.
Taylor Allison Swift wouldn’t be Taylor Swift without the “Swifties.” Whether or not her fans have been here since 2006 or 2022, they are dedicated. Her brand and relevance set her miles apart from any other artist. There are “Taylor Swift parties” being thrown around the world where all the “Swifties” in the area will go to a Taylor Swift-themed party and listen to her music the whole time with an insane amount of people. Taylor had a “Midnights Mayhem” series where she revealed the track names of her “Midnights” album and her fans stayed up until midnight every night to see when she would post. She is known for hiding “Easter eggs” in everything she does. Taylor makes sure it is all carefully planned out, and her fans will spend day and night figuring out what Taylor’s next move is. One of the things that keeps her so relevant is no one ever knows what Taylor is going to do next. Will she release another re-recorded album, or will she drop something completely different? No one knows (except maybe the “Swifties”) and that’s the brilliance of Taylor Swift.

In addition, Taylor has also broken many records. She has over 500 nominations and at least 324 wins. She has won Grammy's for Album of the Year, Best Country Song, Best Music Video, and many more. She has also broken 62 Guinness World Records and has won 34 American Music Awards, 34 BMI Pop Awards, 29 Billboard Awards, 25 BMI Country Awards, and 26 Teen Choice Awards. Swift’s “Midnights” has already broken records for most second-day streams, in which she surpassed Kanye West’s album “Donda”, which was released last year on August 29.

“Midnights” sold over 1 million copies of the album very shortly after its release day. Taylor Swift and the album have also received the award for the first artist and album to occupy the entire top 10 of Billboard’s Hot 100. Taylor Swift also broke the record of being the first female in history to accomplish that. Taylor also announced her “Eras” tour which has 27 US dates next year. This has gained a lot of traction on the internet as the star is breaking records and gaining new fans every day.
Swift has been very dedicated to her fans and the media. She is one of the most famous in the music industry regardless of their opinions of her music. Taylor Swift has around 400 million followers across all platforms and is loved all over the world, and many are excited about the tour and wondering what she is going to do next.
