Homecoming Recap

Last year, Homecoming and the annual pep rally were cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The week of Oct. 18 marked the school’s first spirit week where all students were on campus since 2019. This long build-up left students eager to show off their Eagle pride, and they did. Students were fanatical on spirit week, showcasing their Eagle pride.   

On Monday, students kicked off homecoming week with Pajama Day!  

On Tuesday, students could be seen in Hawaiian shirts or fanny packs, as they participated in tourist day!

On Wednesday, students could be seen in items of clothing varying from the ’50s to the ’90s, as students showed their school spirit for Decades Day!

On Thursday, students could be seen dressed as viral figures from social media, as students participated in meme day!

Paxon students understood the assignment for Meme Day!

On Friday, students gathered on the football field decked in their class colors and Paxon gear for their first pep rally together since the pandemic began.

On Saturday, students went to the Homecoming dance at the St. John Event Center. Students had fun as they conversed, danced, and ate Chick-fil-a and popsicles provided by The Hyppo.
